How does Camo Streamlight affect my laptop’s battery life?
As you might expect, the brighter you make your screen, the more energy is used. HDR and Ultrabright modes will require more of your machine’s power, but if you need light and longer battery life on the go, you can still use Streamlight in SDR mode.
How do I know if my laptop or monitor screen is capable of HDR?
Most HDR-capable screens will have a toggle that’s found in Display Settings. The default for these is often set to Off, but if your screen is capable of HDR, Streamlight should prompt you to turn those on from within the app when the brightness slider reaches that threshold.
Why does my Temperature/Hue slider look different when the light power reaches the Ultrabright setting?
In order to maximise brightness, the Ultrabright mode has a narrower range of available colours. The slider changes to reflect this, with the full graduated spectrum reduced to a sequence of core colours.
