What capture cards work well with Camo Studio for iPad?
There are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to capture cards, with prices ranging from a couple of dozen pounds to hundreds. We tend to lean towards the slightly nicer options, especially if you’re looking to create high-quality content, as some cheaper cards can significantly degrade the picture quality of video passing through them.

Why am I getting the message "Your device doesn't support camera usage in the background?"
If you see this message while trying to record or stream a screen capture with a secondary source for picture-in-picture video, it's because Apple restricts camera usage in the background on older iPads. Screen capture is available on any iPad that can run Camo, but only devices with an M1 chip or later can use the iPad’s built-in camera or USB-connected device as a secondary source for picture-in-picture (PiP). If your iPad is from a previous generation and you’d like to add a PiP, try using Camo Camera to pair your Android or iOS device and select it as a secondary video source. In fact, using Camo Camera as a PiP source is recommended for all users, since it also means you can easily hide the screen capture widget when recording or streaming.
Does Camo Studio for iPad support keyboard shortcuts?
If you connect a keyboard to your iPad, there are a number of shortcuts you can use to control your scenes, start/end a recording or stream, and more. Pressing the Command key in Camo Studio will bring up a window showing your shortcut options — here they are for your reference:
