Today’s update brings a bundle of improvements to the Camo Studio for Apple Vision experience.

  • The new user feedback mechanism makes it simpler for users to share their thoughts and details on any issues encounter with us
  • The gallery for scenes, backgrounds and filters has been combined into a more accessible unified gallery
  • The new Explore section in the gallery now comes preloaded with a fresh set of scenes and backgrounds

  • Profiles have been expanded to support 4:3 and 1:1 aspect ratio resolutions
  • Changes to imported scenes can now be reset to return the scene to how it was at the time of import
  • Scenes can now be exported from Camo Studio on a Mac or Windows PC and imported in Camo Studio for Apple Vision
  • When creating a new scene, the app now starts with a blank scene and selects it automatically
  • The primary and secondary video source panels are now combined into a single panel in the left sidebar
  • Feed elements for primary and secondary video sources can now be rearranged in the layer editor
  • Improved the presentation of settings and sections in sidebar panels
  • Added thumbnail and scene settings to the header of the layers panel
  • Improved retry behaviour and handling of live streaming connections on encountering network issues
  • A new streaming service is now automatically select after being set up
  • The last used streaming service is now remembered between launches of the app
  • Improved session refresh management for Twitch streaming service items

Today’s update brings camera support for mobile devices running the Camo mobile app, along with some improvements to the screen recording experience. If you run into any problems or just want to share your experience, please reach out to our support team. We’d love to hear from and help you.

  • Add video and audio from a mobile device to your scene thanks to the Camo mobile app!
  • Users on non-M1 iPads can now use screen recording!
  • Hide scene layers from the layer context menu.

4 miglioramenti

  • Recording your iPad screen has been made clearer and easier to work with. We’ll use the correct aspect ratio for your screen by default, your PiP will be displayed instantly and once it’s activated, you’ll see your screen recording in the preview.
  • We use rich thumbnails of your scenes to enable easier identification.
  • The original aspect ratio of the image will be preserved when adding an image layer.
  • Sometimes you want to view your scene preview at the same time as the stream panels, so we’ve moved these to a new tab in the sidebar.

  • We’ve fixed an issue where pinching a video layer to resize it would sometimes not be reflected correctly in the output video.
  • We’ve fixed compatibility with certain streaming services when used in the Custom destination.
  • We’ve fixed an issue where streaming to YouTube would be locked to 1080p 30 fps.
